What’s new

A new text in one click, feedback, and a British voice. New text, at the top of the reader: a blank page ready for pasting text or a screenshot, while the text you were reading stays on the bookshelf. The N key does the same. Feedback, at the top of every page: report a problem or suggest an idea. When something goes wrong, “Report this problem” fills in what happened. A British voice, Primrose, who says words the British way.

Bookmarks, a mini player and translations. Bookmarks: name a place in a long text and jump back to it. Select some words to read just those, or loop them for practice. Keep editing while Lyvren reads: changes further on don’t stop the voice. A floating mini player that stays on top of other windows (Chrome and Edge). Teleprompter mode: the highlight moves at your pace, with no voice. Show a translation beside the text, lit up as it’s read (Chrome).

Help, Privacy and About pages. A Help page with every keyboard shortcut, the presets and answers to common questions. A plain-English Privacy page that lists every connection Lyvren makes. About Lyvren, with credits for every voice, font, sound and library it uses.
